Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, 3rd party payment plans, as well as accelerated checkouts including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Is sales tax included?
Sales tax is collected where required by law and will appear at checkout.
Will I receive confirmation after placing my order?
Yes! You’ll receive an order confirmation email, followed by a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your parcel is on its way.
Processing & Fulfillment
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Please allow extra time for oversized or especially fragile items.
Which carriers do you use?
We ship fully insured through UPS, FedEx, or USPS, depending on the item size and destination.
Shipping
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping is based on the largest item in your order, and smaller pieces are combined whenever safely possible. Rates include insurance and specialty packaging.
What if I order multiple items?
We love when you find more than one piece! Shipping is charged based on the largest item in your cart. Smaller pieces are combined whenever safely possible.
If multiple large or fragile items require extra packaging or a larger box, a small packaging fee (typically $8 per additional item) may apply. We’ll always contact you first before making any adjustments.
Local Pick-Up
Do you offer local pick-up?
Yes! Complimentary local pick-up is available by appointment in the DMV area (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia). Simply select “Local Pick-Up” at checkout, and we’ll coordinate a convenient time with you.
Timing & Holidays
How early should I order for holidays or special events?
We recommend placing orders at least two weeks in advance of holidays or gifting occasions to allow time for careful packing and insured transit, especially for larger or fragile pieces.
Vintage & Antique Condition
Are all pieces new?
No. Our Elevated Sustainability Collection features vintage and antique pieces that may show gentle wear consistent with age.
Please review all photos, descriptions, and measurements carefully before purchasing, as colors may vary slightly by screen.
Care & Maintenance
How should I care for my vintage items?
Handle vintage pieces gently and avoid harsh cleaners. A soft cloth, mild soap, and cool water are typically best. For ceramics and gilded finishes, a gentle dusting is often all that’s needed.
Product, Styling & Wish Lists
Can you help me choose pieces that work together?
Absolutely. We love helping you curate a cohesive look. Email us at clientservices@gausofgikded.com or DM us on Instagram with a few photos of your space, and we’ll share styling suggestions inspired by your aesthetic.
Do you ever restock sold pieces?
Most of our treasures are one-of-a-kind vintage or antique, so once they’re gone, they’re gone! However, we’re always sourcing similar pieces. If there’s something you missed, feel free to message us — we might have a match in our upcoming collections.
Can I create a wish list or request specific pieces?
Yes! If you’re hunting for something special — a certain color palette, motif, or style — you can create a wish list or reach out to us directly. We’ll keep an eye out during our sourcing trips and notify you if we find a match.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Each order arrives beautifully packaged, but we can include a handwritten note or gift message upon request. Just leave a note at checkout.
Packaging & Sustainability
What kind of packaging do you use?
Each parcel is packaged with care using a combination of new and recycled materials to ensure your item arrives safely and beautifully. Sustainability and presentation are equally important to us.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within the U.S. only, but we’re exploring international shipping for the future. Stay tuned via Instagram for updates!
Custom Requests & Collaborations
Can I request a specific color or style?
We often have unlisted inventory or pieces waiting to be styled. Send us a message with what you’re looking for — we may have something perfect behind the scenes.
Returns & Cancellations
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. We encourage you to reach out with any questions before purchasing.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your piece arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll assist you with an insurance claim.
Do you offer order cancellations?
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they haven’t shipped yet.
Do you cover shipping delays or lost packages?
We aren’t responsible for carrier delays or parcels marked as “Delivered.” However, we’ll always do our best to help you track down your package.
